On July 12 this year, our 8th Wedding Anniversary, we had a little family dinner out and took a walk around the UofA Campus for old times' sake. We found our names on the sidewalk and told Lexa that her could be there someday too. :)
No, this isn't a post on Battlestar Galactica - even though the season finale was sick!
This is to report my recent research on finding the perfect low calorie summer time drink from Starbucks. I usually pull up to the window and frantically think what would be a good choice and then end up ordering the safe Venti House Coffee. Then wait half an hour after getting the drink to cool off before I can drink it as I sweat in my car. All the while thinking I should have ordered the Grande Carmel Maciatto Frappuccino with whipped cream - but wait, that has like 500 calories right? So after a little bit of research I have some drinks to report just incase there is anyone out there like me.
- Iced Caffe Mocha - Tall - Nonfat - No Cream - 130 Calories
- Cinnamon Dolce Frappacino Light - Tall - 120 Calories
- Espresso Frappuccino Light Blended - Tall - 80 Calories
- Iced Caffe Latte - Tall - Nonfat - 70 Calories
- Iced Sugar Free Syrup Flavored Latte - Tall - Nonfat - 60 Calories

Next was a family dinner at the Flying Fish. Good food, fast and casual. If we arrived any later I don't think we would have gotten to all sit together!
Cute baby cousins! Wes gets really nervous everytime he sees Lexa now because when she comes over his favorite "old" toys disappear!!!
