For a minute there I thought I might have been in Afganistan and saw me some little sheet heads, but just before I got back inside the shop to get my gun, I realized it was the workers dressing up to fool me. Whew! That was a close one. Maybe I should go back in and tell them that they shouldn't be dressing that way in these parts. Or any parts for that matter - heck if they dressed like that down in Little Rock they would probably get lynched or something if those towels had a little more point to them at the top.

Let the foaming begin! Ozark Foam In"seal"ators showed up around 9am.
Right now they are setting up and getting the windows ready. Cutting away all the extra tyvek wrap on the inside and masking off the windows so they can spray the foam right up next to the window openings, which means no caulking for us and a very tight seal around the windows.

Brick is done, siding is done. We will be bricking the porch columns, but that may not even happen until next month. Acme brick Co. has their heads up their tails again.
This past weekend we worked on getting some blocking and sheet rocking done so that the foam insulator contractor can come in and spray phase 1. Phase 2 is after all the sheetrock is up (attic floor mainly.) Hmmm... looks like the "PeaRidge Rockfest 2006" will be getting under way soon, maybe in February sometime - does anyone have any objections to the 2nd or 3rd weekend in February???
