Our Cabinets have been installed!!! Yeah!!! Happy Day!
There is an annoying saying that I absolutely hate, but have been thinking a lot lately. Here it is: "How do you eat an elephant?... One bite at a time." Yeah, pretty bad. But although it sounds stupid and cheesey - this house sure does make me feel like we are trying to eat an elephant. Sometimes I feel like this is a never ending project and some nice thing that we are working on but will never get to have. But I know that soon we will move in, it may not be 100% complete when we move in - like no doors, and unfinished trim carpentry... but we will move in, and we will eventually be finished building this house. Every thing that gets complete moves us closer to having the home of our dreams!!!

Well, we thought that we were going to do a lot fancier design with the shower tile, but as you see, we got a little lazy and figured it really wouldn't be the focal point of the bathroom anyway and just tiled it plain jane. Still looks great! Such a big shower! We think that there is just as much tile in the shower as there is on the bathroom floor!
Thanks again to Matt and Jaysson for laying this beautiful tile floor!! Luv yall!
Words just can't express how cool it was to meet Jesse James! And what I mean by meet Jesse James is that I was paralized from the neck up except for the massive smile on my face when I laid eyes on him. Awesome! Afterwards I was thinking of all the cool things I could have said to him, like "Hey, Jesse thanks from a US Soldier for supporting the troops." or "Hey Jesse, I love Sandra." Or just "Hey, Jesse, you rock dude." No, I just stood there without saying a word, in hopes not to stumble over words and look like an idiot. Whatever, he was totally cool and nice to the three of us that requested pictures. I was told by the chick behind the counter that I was really lucky cause he hardly ever comes out of the garage. Lucky? Yes, cause I was only there for 2 minutes before he showed up and he was only around for 2 minutes!!!
