Words just can't express how cool it was to meet Jesse James!
And what I mean by meet Jesse James is that I was paralized from the neck up except for the massive smile on my face when I laid eyes on him. Awesome! Afterwards I was thinking of all the cool things I could have said to him, like "Hey, Jesse thanks from a US Soldier for supporting the troops." or "Hey Jesse, I love Sandra." Or just "Hey, Jesse, you rock dude." No, I just stood there without saying a word, in hopes not to stumble over words and look like an idiot. Whatever, he was totally cool and nice to the three of us that requested pictures. I was told by the chick behind the counter that I was really lucky cause he hardly ever comes out of the garage. Lucky? Yes, cause I was only there for 2 minutes before he showed up and he was only around for 2 minutes!!!

Ahhh... lovely Ft. Irwin... NOT. Well, it was okay. The company was awesome, though.

Thanks to Jim (the Snarrrrrge), Brian (Punter 6), and Dallas (Tire 6) for bringing back the good ole days. Glad we were only in the sand for 8 days instead of a year - oh, yeah, and without that whole thing with hadjis shooting at us. When's the next reunion???

Operation Iraqi Freedom
All gave some, some gave all.
"Today we say thank you to many heroes (who) never really set out to be heroes. Each loved his or her life as much as we love ours. Each had a place in their world, a family waiting and friends to be seen again. They thought of their future just as we do, with plans and hopes for a long life. But they left it all behind when they left for war, and parted with it forever when they died." - CSM John Vacho
