Some of you have been asking about what to get Lexa. I'm registered at Wal-Mart and Target.
Due to privacy reasons, I'm not listing personal info, but those of you who know me should be able to find my registry stuff.

Sorry no real pictures right now.
A lot has happened with the house here lately and I haven't had time to post any pictures. We have countertops in for the kitchen, masterbathroom, and powderroom. (the Jack and Jill bathroom doesn't yet) Lance has been working really hard to get the sinks plumbed and working plus he has finished the tiling of the master shower. It's beautiful and I really need to get some pictures up. We will be grouting the shower tile this weekend. The Jack and Jill bathroom wall tile isn't complete, I'd say it's about halfway done - then the floor and walls need to be grouted. The toilet has been set for the powderroom. One weird thing that has happened is that the toilet that we bought for the masterbathroom is too big - it's for a 12" rough in and we have a 10" rough in - if you know what that means. It took a lot of explaining for me to understand; but of course the husband just said "our toilet doesn't fit" and I kept asking why and he would just say "it goes into the wall." WTH?! So I think we have to get a special fitting - an offset flange - to correct this problem and we can still use the nice clearance unreturnable toilet that we already have. :)
Tomorrow we get our appliances!!! Yeah!!!
They should all be installed by the end of this weekend!
I will have a full functioning kitchen!!!!! That will be a first since November 2003!!!!!!!! No lie! And we will be picking out carpet this weekend or next week. Then guess what. Yep we will move in. So although I don't have an exact move in day, per say, we will move in after these things are accomplished. :) I'm happy! So is Lexa - she's kicking with delight right now!

Our Cabinets have been installed!!! Yeah!!! Happy Day!
There is an annoying saying that I absolutely hate, but have been thinking a lot lately. Here it is: "How do you eat an elephant?... One bite at a time." Yeah, pretty bad.
But although it sounds stupid and cheesey - this house sure does make me feel like we are trying to eat an elephant. Sometimes I feel like this is a never ending project and some nice thing that we are working on but will never get to have.
But I know that soon we will move in, it may not be 100% complete when we move in - like no doors, and unfinished trim carpentry... but we will move in, and we will eventually be finished building this house. Every thing that gets complete moves us closer to having the home of our dreams!!!
